At Affinity Whole Health, we work with you to properly access what hormones your body needs. We don’t just investigate estrogen and progesterone, but assess them all including testosterone, LH and FSH.

Estrogen therapy is prescribed for relief of menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, mood swings, dry skin, decreased bone health, and sleep disturbances. In certain patients, estrogen therapy has been observed to also decrease the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and colon cancer.

Typically mistaken as only being important in men, testosterone deficiency in a woman can cause low energy levels and fatigue, low sex drive, loss of lean muscle mass and gain of body fat, insomnia and depressed mood.

Progesterone is primarily prescribed to prevent uterine issues that can be caused from estrogen therapy, but can also improve sleep.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) are hormones produced by the pituitary gland that work together to regulate sexual development and reproduction.

Menopause is defined as the cessation of menstrual cycles, which occurs when hormones stop being produced by a woman's body. The transition to menopause is termed perimenopause or premenopause, and may last for many years. Symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, insomnia, mood swings, low sex drive, vaginal dryness, fat gain and loss of muscle. BHRT involves replacing these hormones that the body stops producing to alleviate these symptoms.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy includes replacing the natural hormones that the body stops producing with hormones that are identical in structure. This can alleviate the symptoms of menopause.

Your initial labs to see if you are eligible for a BHRT program cost $99. Your BHRT program cost will depend on what medications and dosage you are prescribed.
Affinity’s all-in pricing covers your medications, supplements, supplies, shipping & handling, follow-up lab work and your follow-up consultation. We never charge a membership fee. You also will be partnered with a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator as your point of contact throughout the process.

Patients typically start to feel improvement within six weeks of starting medication, although it may be sooner. You should allow 3 months to feel the full effect of your treatment program.

Potential side effects depend upon which medications you are prescribed. You may be prescribed more than one hormone depending on your body’s needs.
Most women do not experience any negative side effects, but the most common are bleeding/spotting, breast tenderness, bloating, headaches and acne.
Other potential side effects are discussed by your Affinity Medical Provider at your consultation.

Affinity offers free 2-day shipping for all orders. Your order often ships the day after your telehealth appointment.

Affinity offers some of the most comprehensive labs in the industry. Your Patient Care Coordinator can explain which blood tests you’ll need for your desired program. If you already have labs, you can share them with Affinity to see if we can use them for your consultation. Your Affinity Medical Provider will review your labs with you during your consultation.

Affinity does not offer hormone pellet therapy. Pellet therapy require an invasive procedure to be inserted and cannot be removed or adjusted once placed.

During your first consultation with an Affinity Medical Provider, you go over your lab results and medical history together.
Your Affinity Medical Provider determines if you qualify for a treatment program, explains treatment options, potential side effects, and answers your medical questions.

When you begin a program with Affinity, you receive check-ins from your Patient Care Coordinator and your Affinity Medical Provider reviews your periodic lab results.
You'll have consultations annually with your Affinity Medical Provider and as needed.
